This is a freeze dried starter, which is added directly to the milk and not incubated before use. Each sachet is sufficient for 50 litres of milk. Used with rennet.

Tip: When using less than a full sachet some cheese makers tip out some of the powder, seal with adhesive tape and store in the freezer.
Simply add to warm milk (32oC) leave for 30 minutes for soft cheese, 60 minutes for hard, then add rennet and follow the usual cheesemaking recipes.
